Who are we looking for?

An amazing senior Java engineer (m/f/x) for our SDK team who is ready to create new technologies from scratch. You will take part in exciting projects, solving challenges to create the safest and user-friendliest data security solutions on the market. We are looking for someone who thinks outside the box, challenges the norm and brings creativity, innovation and imagination to the team.

You will:

  • Innovate and develop top-notch security products with reliability, security, availability and efficiency goals in mind

  • Develop JDBC drivers for various databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and BigQuery, integrating our internal encryption algorithms for enhanced security.

  • Design and implement applications using Spring Boot, leveraging our internal SDK with database extensions and tools.

  • Collaborate closely with the team to understand project requirements and contribute ideas for product improvement.

  • Take ownership of tasks and projects, demonstrating autonomy and initiative in problem-solving.

  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities and requirements in a fast-paced startup environment

  • Work at the edge of, develop and improve technological standards, tooling, and processes across the company

  • Work together with a multidisciplinary team of cryptography, back-end, front-end,  and QA developers

You're perfect for this role if you have:

  • Strong proficiency in Java programming language, with demonstrated experience in developing JDBC drivers and Spring Boot applications

  • Solid understanding of database concepts and experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and BigQuery

  • Familiarity with encryption algorithms and techniques is highly desirable

  • Experience with Rust would be a plus

  • Proven ability to work autonomously, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment

  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

  • Previous experience in startup environments is a plus

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends when necessary, to meet project deadlines
