Lillian Xiang Li

Lillian Xiang Li is a highly experienced scientist specializing in analytical chemistry and process development, currently serving as a Staff Scientist in Protein Downstream Process Development at Vaxcyte. With a strong background in CMC development, Lillian previously held the position of Principal Scientist at Turn Biotechnologies, focusing on mRNA delivery systems and epigenetic research. At JUUL Labs, Lillian led a team in CMC development, overseeing critical testing and data compilation for FDA submissions. Prior positions include Senior Scientist at The Clorox Company, where Lillian contributed to product development, and R&D Scientist at Contract Pharmacal Corp, specializing in formulation design. Early career experiences include postdoctoral research at Brookhaven National Laboratory and a graduate studies tenure at Pennsylvania State University, culminating in a Ph.D. in Physical/Analytical Chemistry. Lillian also possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Fudan University.
