Dwayne’s focus on developing others through coaching, infecting others with a continuous improvement mindset, and servant leadership approach have all contributed to his and his teams’ abilities to meet the needs of patients over the last 30 years. His operations experiences helped create a balanced, yet action-oriented leadership style that enables others to do their best work, focuses on employee engagement, and encourages teammates to think, act, and “fail fast” in order to drive learning and results. He firmly believes in the principle of doing the hard things first so others may benefit.
