Ankit Bhatnagar has extensive work experience in various roles and industries.

Ankit is currently the Chief Product and Technology Officer at Vayana Network since June 2022.

Prior to this, they were a Co-Founder at Payso Fintech Pvt Ltd starting from April 2016. At Payso Fintech, Ankit was involved in the promotion of simplified payment solutions and had specialized experience in areas such as digital payment solutions, physical payments, eCommerce acquiring business, digital wallet solutions, electronic banking products, cash management, and transaction banking products. The company was aligned with the objective of leading the country towards a cashless and inclusive low-cost financial system.

Before that, Ankit worked at Mswipe Technologies Pvt. Ltd. from March 2019 to June 2022. Ankit held the position of Head of Product and Engineering from March 2020 to June 2022 and Head of SBU - Mswipe QR from March 2019 to March 2020.

Ankit also has significant experience at Kotak Mahindra Bank, where they worked from April 2007 to March 2016. Ankit held multiple roles across the retail and wholesale business of the bank, primarily in transaction banking, government business, and retail business solutions functions. Ankit led the product and innovations function for wholesale business as Vice President. During their time at Kotak Mahindra Bank, Ankit represented the bank in various steering committees of the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) and launched several notable initiatives such as the first RuPay prepaid program, the eCommerce payment gateway business "Kotak All Pay," and online tax payment services for customers in multiple states.

Ankit's career began at IDBI Bank, where they worked as a team member in the product development group from May 2005 to April 2007. Ankit'sresponsibilities included product enhancement, development, and support for corporate and retail internet banking, SMS banking, and payment gateway. Ankit was also involved in the procurement process for life insurance solutions.

Ankit Bhatnagar completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering from Bhilai Institute of Technology (BIT), Durg in the year 2003. Later, in 2004-2005, they pursued a Post Graduation in Banking Technology Management from the Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology (IDRBT). In addition to their academic degrees, Ankit Bhatnagar obtained certifications such as the General Management Programme for Kotak Group from Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad in August 2015, and the Advanced Programme in Card Payment System from the National Institute of Bank Management in October 2013.
