Formulation Research Technician at VBI Vaccines

Aaron Li has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Aaron recently worked as a Formulation Research Technician at VBI Vaccines Inc. starting from May 2022. Previously, from September 2020 to April 2022, Aaron worked as a Research Council Officer at the National Research Council Canada. Prior to that, they were a QC Chemist at KIK Custom Products in July 2020. Aaron also has sales experience, having worked as a Sales Representative at Bell from May 2018 to June 2020. In terms of research experience, Aaron worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Ottawa from September 2017 to January 2020, where they conducted experiments, carried out routine chemical testing, and completed joint projects. Aaron also served as a Teaching Assistant for laboratory courses during the same period. Aaron has additional research experience with internships at the National Research Council Canada and the Beijing Key Laboratory of Environmentally Harmful Chemical Analysis. Aaron also worked as a Laboratory Assistant at the National Fundamental Research Laboratory of New Hazardous Chemicals.

Aaron Li completed their Bachelor of Science in Applied Chemistry from Beijing University of Chemical Technology in 2017. Aaron then pursued a Master of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering with a focus on Biological and Chemical Engineering from the University of Ottawa, graduating in 2020. In addition to their academic qualifications, Aaron Li obtained several certifications, including becoming a Chartered Chemist from the Association of the Chemical Profession of Ontario (ACPO) in July 2020. Aaron also received certifications in Neighbourhood Marketing Training from Bell in June 2018, WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) from the National Research Council Canada in May 2019, and Fire Safety from the National Research Council Canada in May 2019. Aaron Li also completed Lab Safety Training at the University of Ottawa, TA training at the University of Ottawa, and WHMIS training at the University of Ottawa. Furthermore, they participated in the Summer Research Program in 2019 at the National Research Council Canada.
