Michael Gilbert

Michael Gilbert has a strong background in software engineering, with extensive experience in various roles. Michael is currently working as a Principal Software Engineer at Vcinity since October 2018. Prior to that, they served as a Principal Engineer at Bay Microsystems, Inc. from March 2001 to October 2018. Michael also worked as a Principal Engineer at Mantra Communications from August 1999 to February 2001. Before that, they held the position of Principal Engineer at Synaptyx / Telco Systems / World Access from November 1996 to August 1999. Additionally, Michael worked as a Software Engineer at Samsung from January 1995 to November 1996. Michael began their career as an MTS at Hughes Network Systems, where they worked from May 1986 to December 1994.

Michael Gilbert received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University in 1986. Michael then pursued further education at The Johns Hopkins University, where they obtained their Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from 1989 to 1992.
