Allison Goodwin

Allison Goodwin, MS, CGC, is an experienced genetic counselor currently serving at VCU Medical Center since February 2015. With prior roles at Health Diagnostic Laboratory, Inc. and Integrated Genetics, Allison has developed specialized programs such as the Familial Hypercholesterolemia (FH) Program and coordinated genetic counseling sessions for patients with inherited disorders. A strong background in prenatal genetics was established through internships at notable institutions like California Pacific Medical Center and Lucile Packard Children's Hospital. Allison possesses a Master of Science in Genetic Counseling from California State University, Stanislaus, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from William & Mary.
