John Scheffey

John Scheffey is an experienced energy trader currently working at VECO Power Trading since February 2021. Prior to this role, John served as a Biomechanics R&D Intern at Driveline Baseball Enterprises, Inc. from December 2017 to January 2021, and as a Graduate Research Assistant at The Johns Hopkins University, where contributions were made in the Flow Physics and Computation Lab from August 2019 to December 2020. Additional experience includes a Thermal Engineering Co-op at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory in mid-2017, a Manufacturing Engineering Co-op at Communications & Power Industries from July to December 2016, and a Mechanical Design Intern at Core States Group from May 2015 to June 2016. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Summa Cum Laude, from Northeastern University and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University. Education also includes completion of studies at La Salle College High School in 2014.
