Pr. Frédéric Courbon has a board certification in Nuclear medicine and Oncology and a PhD in medical Physics.
He has been since 2003 the Head of the Imaging Department at Claudius REGAUD, Institut Universitaire du Cancer de Toulouse-Oncopole.
He is also full Professor of Biophysics and Nuclear Medecine at the University of Toulouse.
Pr. Courbon works as clinical research associate at the Centre de Recherche en Cancérologie de Toulouse (Team 12 Cholesterol metabolism and therapeutic innovations).
He has strong expertise in conducting clinical trials in nuclear medicine and oncology, in accordance with ICH GCP guidelines. He works on innovative theranostic approaches in nuclear medicine for endocrine tumours, breast and prostate cancer. Furthermore, he has participated to several clinical trials involving the clinical impact and the diagnostic performance of various imaging and radiotracers in different cancers.
He has published about 50 international publications and participated to various conferences.
Pr Courbon is also working on market access for radiopharmaceuticals at the ESSEC business school (SMIS MBA).
