Malikeh Ehghaghi

Malikeh Ehghaghi is a Machine Learning Research Scientist at the Vector Institute, focusing on Modular ML and Decentralized Training since March 2025, and serves as a Co Host for the Women in AI Research podcast, which highlights the contributions of female AI researchers. Previously, Malikeh held positions such as Applied NLP Research Engineer at Arcee.ai, where work centered on AI agents for enterprise applications, and Machine Learning Consultant at Lavita, facilitating privacy-preserving health data sharing. Additional experience includes a Team Lead role at the University of Toronto, focusing on clinical note interpretation, and research positions at Cambridge Cognition and Winterlight Labs, with a particular emphasis on cognitive impairment. Malikeh holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Tehran.
