Sepehr Samavi is a PhD candidate in Robotics at the University of Toronto and the Vector Institute for Artificial Intelligence, with ongoing research roles at both institutions since September 2018. Sepehr has actively contributed to UofT Robotics Institute as a Graduate Student Researcher since July 2019 and previously worked as an autonomy developer and deputy lead for aUToronto, the University of Toronto's SAE Autodrive Challenge team, from August 2017 to January 2020. Prior experience includes serving as an ADAS Research Intern at Magna International from May 2016 to July 2017 and a research intern at The Tearney Lab at Massachusetts General Hospital in the summer of 2014. Sepehr holds a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Master of Applied Science from the University of Toronto, and is projected to complete the PhD program in June 2025.
