Femke Hoeksema has worked in the biotechnology industry since 2005. Femke began their career as a Ph.D. at the Universiteit van Amsterdam. In 2009, they joined CellaGenics as a Scientist. In 2012, they moved to Batavia Biosciences, where they held the roles of Project Director, Project Manager, Team Leader Cell Line Development, and Scientist. In 2021, they became the Head of Process Development at VectorY.
Femke Hoeksema obtained their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Biotechnologisch onderzoek / Biotechnology from the University of Amsterdam in 2011. Prior to that, they obtained their Master of Science - MS in Biomedical Sciences from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) in 2005.
