David Bovard

David Bovard, PhD, is an experienced professional in the field of life sciences with a strong background in bioanalytical and in vitro operations. Currently serving as Manager of Bioanalytical and In vitro Operations at Vectura Fertin Pharma Laboratories since August 2021, David leads a team in executing GLP, ISO17025, and non-GLP studies. Previously, David held various roles at Philip Morris International from December 2015 to July 2021, including Senior Scientist and Postdoctoral Research Scientist, where significant contributions were made in the development of microphysiological systems and organ-on-a-chip models. David obtained a PhD in Life Sciences from the University of Lausanne, following a Master's and Bachelor's degree in medical biology and general biology, respectively. Throughout a career marked by innovative research, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and presentations at international congresses, David has established a reputation as a subject matter expert in systems toxicology and in vitro modeling.
