Laura Tyldesley

Laura Tyldesley (Jinks) has a diverse work experience spanning across various roles and companies. Laura is currently working as a Lead Engineer - Design Assurance at Vectura Group since September 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Scientist at SFM Ltd from January 2019 to September 2022, where they also worked as a Research Scientist from April 2017 to January 2019. Before joining SFM Ltd, Laura was a PhD Student at Loughborough University from April 2014 to March 2017, where they focused on developing polymer-clay hydrogels for biomedical applications and 3D printed prosthetic devices. Laura started their career as a Laboratory Assistant at Biocomposites Ltd in February 2011 and worked there until March 2014, gaining experience in routine product testing and collaborative research.

Laura Tyldesley (Jinks) completed their education history as follows:

- From 2014 to 2020, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Materials at Loughborough University.

- In 2010-2011, they obtained a PGCE in Secondary Science (Biology) from Keele University.

- Between 2006 and 2009, they earned a BSc (Hons) degree in Genetics from the University of Nottingham.

In addition to their academic achievements, Laura Tyldesley (Jinks) also obtained two certifications: PRINCE2® Foundation Certification from PeopleCert in March 2021, and PRINCE2® 2017 Practitioner from PeopleCert in November 2022.
