Alex Locke

Alex Locke has an extensive work experience in various legal roles. Alex currently serves as the Deputy General Counsel at VeeFriends, a contemporary entertainment company that focuses on art, storytelling, and building a community centered around positivity and kindness. Prior to this, Alex was the Co-Founder and Managing Member of NFIP Holdings, LLC, where they specialized in monetizing NFT value through asset pooling and licensing consumer goods.

Before joining VeeFriends and NFIP Holdings, Alex gained experience at Morgan Stanley as a Legal Secondee, providing expertise in intellectual property, technology, and data. Alex also worked as an Intellectual Property Associate at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP, where they advised on high-technology and IP-intensive transactions.

Earlier in their career, Alex served as an Associate at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP, representing issuers and investors in securities offerings. They also worked as an Associate Counsel at Brandgenuity, managing legal affairs for a global product and services licensing agency.

Alex Locke's education history begins with their attendance at Syosset High School from 2006 to 2010. After completing high school, they went on to the University of Michigan, where they studied Sports Marketing and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from 2010 to 2014. Following their undergraduate studies, Alex enrolled in the Cardozo School of Law and pursued a Doctor of Law (JD) degree, specializing in the field of Law, until 2018. Furthermore, they obtained an additional certification as a New York State Licensed Attorney from the New York Supreme Court Appellate Division, First Department in June 2019.
