Erick Montes

Erick Montes began their work experience in 2004 as a Master Printer at Coronado Studio. Erick then worked as a Logistics Agent at Apple from 2006 to 2007. In 2009, they became a Designer at The Decoder Ring Design Concern. From 2010 to 2015, they worked as a Senior Designer at Helms Workshop, specializing in brand development for startups and small companies. In 2015, Erick joined OK Studio Design & Branding as a Partner and Creative Director, managing all operations of the company and leading a team of designers, illustrators, copywriters, and web developers. In 2018, they became a Creative Director at HEYDAY, where they developed an RTD coffee brand from concept to execution and managed all creative operations. In 2021, Erick joined Twitter as a Sr. Art Director / Design Lead, working with the Global Brand team to expand the Twitter brand and leading projects for Consumer and B2B campaigns. Currently, they are working as a Design Director at VeeFriends, starting in 2023.

Erick Montes began their education in 1998 at St.Edward's University, where they completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Photocommunications. During this time, they also pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Marketing/Branding. This education journey lasted until 2001. In 2007, Erick attended Miami Ad School Atlanta @ Portfolio Center, where they focused on Graphic Design/Art Direction until 2009.
