Shayne Weerakoon

Shayne Weerakoon has diverse software engineering experience. Shayne is currently working as a Lead Software Engineer at Velaris since April 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Sysco LABS Sri Lanka, where they started as a Software Engineer in July 2018 and was promoted to Senior Software Engineer in August 2019. Shayne remained in this role until April 2021. Before Sysco LABS, they worked at GT Nexus as a Software Engineer Associate from May 2016 to August 2017.

Shayne Weerakoon completed their high school education at Alethea International School from 2007 to 2014. Shayne then pursued an Engineer's Degree in Computer Software Engineering from the Informatics Institute of Technology (IIT), graduating in 2018.
