Dave Clark has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries. Dave began their career as an Engineering Intern at Winstanley Associates, where they worked on the research and development of an automated indoor digital advertising display system. Dave then transitioned to Michigan Technological University as a Help Desk Consultant, providing technical support to staff and students in engineering computer labs.

Dave later joined TEKsystems as a Technician before moving on to the University of South Florida as a Support Technician in the Health Sciences Center. In this role, they provided onsite and phone technical support to faculty, staff, and students in a mixed office, hospital, laboratory, and classroom environment.

Afterwards, Dave worked at Wavelet Investments as a Geophysical Technologist and Systems Administrator. Dave was responsible for data architecture, including inventorying, scanning, and logging seismic and oil and gas data. Dave also created a database and filing system, leveraged meta-data, and supported the daily workflow of geophysicists.

Dave then transitioned to a role as a Head Consultant at David Clark Consulting, where they helped users leverage personal technology for home and small businesses. Dave'sresponsibilities included computer and technology education, security solutions, and troubleshooting.

Subsequently, Dave joined ISONAS Security Systems as a Technical Support Engineer and later became a Technical Support Supervisor. In these roles, they trained support engineers, managed escalated cases, reported bugs, and served as a customer liaison to management.

Following their time at ISONAS, Dave moved to LogRhythm as an Advanced Support Services Engineer. Dave provided top-level front-line support, acting as a customer advocate and resolving issues for high-value accounts. Dave also collaborated with security teams and engineering teams to address issues and maintain large multi-server global deployments.

Most recently, Dave worked at AnyVision as a Field Engineer, responsible for installing, integrating, and configuring AnyVision's AI platform. Dave also provided support for demos, proof of concepts, and all phases of AnyVision's AI solutions. Dave later became the Senior Field Engineer and Field Engineering Team Lead, focusing on product deployment and leading a team.

Currently, Dave is employed at Velasea, LLC as a Solutions Architect. Dave'srole involves enabling customer success by providing expert knowledge in hardware selection and solution design, with a particular expertise in Computer Vision and AI.

Dave Clark has a diverse education history. From 2001 to 2003, they attended Western Michigan University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a focus on Computer and Information Sciences. Prior to that, from 2000 to 2001, they studied Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications at Hillsborough Community College, although it is unclear if they obtained a degree. From 1997 to 2000, Dave attended Michigan Technological University, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. Before starting college, they completed General Studies at Northwestern Michigan College from 1995 to 1996. Dave completed their high school education at Traverse City Senior High School, earning a High School Diploma with a focus on College Prep from 1993 to 1996.

In addition to their formal education, Dave also holds several certifications. In 2017, they obtained Elasticsearch Operations 1 certification from Elastic. In 2000, they received the A+ Computer Repair Technician certification from CompTIA. Furthermore, in 2006, Dave became a Level 1 Kiteboarding Instructor through the International Kiteboarding Organization (IKO).
