Shafiq Khairudin

Shafiq Khairudin is a legal professional with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Legal Manager at Velesto Energy Berhad since October 2022, Shafiq previously held the position of Manager for Legal, Secretarial & Corporate Governance at ICON Offshore Berhad from May 2021 to October 2022, and worked as a Legal Counsel at AET Tankers Pte Ltd from January 2017 to May 2021. Prior experience includes serving as Legal Counsel at Malaysia Marine & Heavy Engineering from May 2012 to January 2017, where Shafiq managed a range of legal matters including contracts, litigation, corporate governance, and compliance with industry regulations. Shafiq's initial experience includes an industrial traineeship in the legal department at Malaysia Marine & Heavy Engineering, complemented by a foundational role as an Office Assistant at Grace Theme Sdn Bhd. Shafiq holds a Bachelor's Degree in Law and Commerce, along with a Foundation in Law, from Management and Science University. Future aspirations include obtaining a company secretarial license.
