Rachel Grubb has a long and varied work experience. Rachel began their career as a Columnist for the Boston Phoenix in 1997. In 2000, they were a Staff Reporter for the Community Newspaper Company. In 2001, they were a Staff Reporter and Freelancer for Bay Windows. From 2007 to 2009, they were a Digital Resources Assistant and Operations/Web Media Associate for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In 2013, they were a Project Manager/Media Coordinator for edX. In 2016, they were a Course Developer for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). From 2017 to 2020, they were the Chief Operating Officer for Sperling Interactive. Since 2020, they have been an Account Director for 829 Studios - Digital Agency & Marketing Consultancy. Rachel is currently an Account Director for Velir.
Rachel Grubb obtained a MA in Media Arts from Emerson College between 2005 and 2007. Rachel also obtained a MA in English from Southern Connecticut State University between 1996 and 1998. Her first degree was a BS/BA in Paralegal Studies and English from Roger Williams University between 1989 and 1993. Additionally, Rachel Grubb obtained a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from the Scrum Alliance in March 2022 and a Digital Marketing Circuit from General Assembly in October 2018.
