Karthikeyan S.

Karthikeyan S. is the current Deputy Director of the Career Development Center at Vellore Institute of Technology. Karthikeyan has been with the company since December 2001, starting as an Assistant Professor. In this role, they teach theory and practical courses on Microbiology, Downstream Processing, Biobusiness, Social Entrepreneurship and IPR related courses. Karthikeyan also guides B.Tech/M.Tech and M.Sc students for their research projects. To date, they have completed 1 DRDO funded project and 1 DBT project, as well as 3 industrial projects. In addition to their academic work, Karthikeyan is also a mentor, guide, and consultant for 7 social and Biotechnology based start up companies.
