Nick Oppersdorff

Nick Oppersdorff has a diverse work experience in the field of software testing and automation. Nick started their career as a Test Analyst at Landmark Information in 2006 and worked there until 2010. Nick then joined Management Systems Modelling Ltd as a QA Test Manager from 2010 to 2012. In 2012, they joined LV= and served various roles including Software Test Analyst, Senior Test Analyst, and Test Automation Architect. In their role as Test Automation Architect, they were responsible for defining and implementing the test automation strategy for the Life business, providing technical guidance, and setting the group-wide direction for test automation. In 2018, they joined Velo Payments as a Senior Test Automation Engineer and later transitioned to the role of Lead SDET. In these roles, Nick focused on improving testability, developing automated tests, and collaborating with manual QAs, developers, and product teams.

Nick Oppersdorff earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Exeter, where they attended from 2002 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained a certification in "Docker Mastery: with Kubernetes + Swarm from a Docker Captain" from Udemy in July 2020.
