Roland Brown-Smith

Roland Brown-Smith has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions. Roland started their career in 2000 as a Visual C++ Developer at GST Technology Ltd, where they worked on debugging existing code and writing specifications for a new product. In 2001, they joined Advertwizard.com as a PHP developer, focusing on front-end system development. From 2002 to 2009, Roland worked at ADVFN as a Lead PHP Developer, responsible for both front-end and back-end development, managing a team, and assisting with code development.

In 2009, Roland joined MOO as a Senior Developer, later transitioning to roles such as Tech Lead, Software Architect, and Senior Systems Engineer. During their time at MOO, they demonstrated expertise in system engineering and architecture.

From 2018 to 2021, Roland worked for Velo Payments as a DevOps Engineer, responsible for ensuring smooth operations of the systems. In 2020, they also briefly worked as a Platform Engineer at NIAXO.
