Ryan S.

Ryan S. has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology. Ryan is currently working as a DevOps Engineer at Velo Payments since October 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Systems Administrator at Commonwealth Computer Research, Inc. (CCRi) from December 2018 to September 2021. Ryan also worked as an Information Systems Watch Officer in the US Navy from August 2016 to November 2018. Before joining the Navy, Ryan worked as a Systems Administrator at the Defense Intelligence Agency from January 2013 to April 2016.

Ryan S. began their education journey by obtaining an Associate of Arts degree in General Studies from Centralia College in the years 2007 to 2009. Ryan then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems Security from American Military University between 2014 and 2016. Following this, Ryan enrolled in Virginia Tech, where they achieved a Master of Information Technology degree from 2018 to 2020.

In addition to their formal education, Ryan S. also obtained various certifications. Ryan earned an A+ ce certification from CompTIA in October 2012, followed by a Security+ ce certification in July 2013. In April 2016, they obtained a CASP+ ce certification, and in April 2020, they obtained both a Linux+ ce certification and a Network+ ce certification, all from CompTIA. More recently, in June 2018, Ryan achieved a CISSP certification from (ISC)². Finally, in May 2020, they obtained a Server+ certification, and in August 2021, they obtained a CySA+ ce certification, both from CompTIA.
