Tania Ali

Tania Ali is currently the Head of Legal & Consultant at Velo Payments. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Legal and Compliance at Deposit Solutions from November 2020 to May 2021. Tania has also worked as an Instructor at Columbia University in the City of New York from August 2020 to May 2021, teaching a pre-college course on the intersection of technology and law. Prior to their time at Columbia, Ms. Ali served as the Head of Legal/Consultant at Velo Payments from July 2019 to March 2020. Before that, they were a member of the U.S. Faster Payments Council from July 2019 to March 2020. Ms. Ali has also held the positions of General Counsel and Corporate Secretary - North America at Travelex from March 2018 to March 2020 and Deputy General Counsel and Corporate Secretary - North America at Travelex from November 2017 to March 2018.

Tania Ali received their J.D. from Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and their Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from The George Washington University.
