Junko Swain

Junko Swain is an accomplished finance executive with deep experience leading companies’ financial and business strategies, especially the transformation of turning a private company public. Prior to becoming a board member of Velocity Global, Swain held leadership positions at several technology companies, including Upwork (an IPO in 2018), Vantiv (an IPO in 2012), Apple, VMWare and eBay, where she was responsible for building the scalable future of work through a hybrid workforce management models, M&A integrations, and global finance operations after serving many technology audit clients at Deloitte for over 7 years. She holds a BS in accounting from the University of Hawaii and mini-BS in Economics from Meiji University Women’s College in Japan.
