Parvathi Mahadevan

Parvathi Mahadevan is a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at Velsera since January 2023, specializing in precision medicine and next-generation sequencing (NGS). Prior to this role, Parvathi worked at Pierian as a Senior QA Engineer, overseeing QA activities and bioinformatics testing for the Clinical Genomics Workspace flagship product. Parvathi's extensive experience at Persistent Systems includes various positions from Trainee to Engineering Lead - Domain, with a focus on cancer prediction software, data validation, and manual testing. Parvathi began a career in bioinformatics as a summer intern at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) in Pune, contributing to small RNA structure predictions. Parvathi holds a Master’s degree in Bioinformatics from Savitribai Phule Pune University and a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from Modern College of Arts Science and Commerce.
