Jorge Ferreira Alves

Jorge Ferreira Alves is a skilled Software Security Architect with extensive experience in developing secure infrastructures and compliance systems. At velv since May 2018, Jorge has focused on cloud security architecture and managing cloud-based systems. Previously at dayzero, from October 2017 to March 2019, responsibilities included GDPR compliance system architecture and application penetration testing. At Deloitte, from August 2015 to September 2017, Jorge contributed to various classified projects across Europe and trained public entities on cybersecurity protocols. Starting as a Software Developer at Accenture from August 2010 to July 2015, technologies utilized included Java and Oracle PL/SQL. Jorge holds a Licentiate degree in Computer Science from Instituto Superior Técnico, obtained in 2010.
