Tammy Sims Coan

Tammy Sims Coan has a diverse range of work experience spanning over several years. Tammy is currently working as the VP of Demand Generation & Growth Marketing at Venafi since December 2022. Prior to this, they held various roles at Aviatrix, including Vice President of Demand & Growth Marketing from August 2021 to November 2022, and Sr. Director of Demand Marketing from December 2018 to July 2021.

Before their time at Aviatrix, Tammy worked at Citus Data as the Sr. Director of Demand Generation from July 2018 to December 2018. Tammy was responsible for building the demand generation engine and creating brand awareness programs for the Citus database.

From 2016 to 2018, Tammy worked at SLI Systems, Inc. as the Sr. Director of Lifecycle Marketing and Director of Lifecycle Marketing. At Zetta, Inc., they served as the Director of Demand Generation & Marketing Operations from October 2011 to August 2016.

Tammy's earlier experiences include working at Panda Security as the Senior Manager of Demand Generation from October 2010 to September 2011, ServoTerra.com as the Director of Marketing from February 2009 to February 2010, and TSS Marketing as a Consultant from January 2001 to January 2009.

Tammy also served as the Director of Marketing at Avaterra.com (Fujitsu spin-off) from 1998 to 2000, and as a Product Marketing Manager at Fujitsu from 1995 to 1999.

Tammy Sims Coan has an MBA in Marketing from the Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business. Tammy also has additional certifications including ABM Certification from Demandbase, Winning by Design Certification from Winning By Design, and Marketo Certified Expert Certification from Marketo, obtained in May 2018.
