Lewis Moody Ieng Mimeche

Lewis Moody IEng MiMechE has extensive work experience in various engineering roles.

Lewis started their career in 2008 with a work experience placement at The Tanfield Group PLC. In 2009, they gained further work experience at Heathcol Welding Supplies, where they accompanied a Service Engineer to different engineering firms.

From 2009 to 2012, Lewis worked as a Customer Assistant-Checkouts at Tesco PLC.

In 2012, they began an Industrial Placement at National Grid, where they worked in different departments, primarily in Policy & Development and Maintenance. During this placement, they contributed to several projects and gained a detailed understanding of business operations.

Lewis continued to work at National Grid, taking on different roles from 2014 to 2018. As a Reliability Analyst, their responsibilities included performing asset analysis, implementing asset health monitoring regimes, and optimizing maintenance and inspection regimes. Lewis also supported projects such as the Juran European LNG Terminal Benchmarking project.

Additionally, Lewis held several Graduate Engineer placements at National Grid. In these placements, they worked on developing an asset information repository, identifying key performance data for critical assets, and analyzing and trending data in real time to enhance asset performance understanding.

Finally, Lewis joined Venator Materials Plc in 2018 as a Technical Engineer.

Lewis Moody IEng MiMechE pursued a Mechanical Engineering (BENG) degree at the University of Sunderland from 2010 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed their A levels in Maths, Business Studies, and English Language at Durham Gilesgate Sixth Form from 2008 to 2010. Lewis also obtained an NVQ Level 2 in Performing Engineering Operations (Engineering Practices) from Derwentside College between 2006 and 2008.
