Michael Stearns

Michael Stearns has a diverse work experience in the tax and energy sectors. Michael began their career at Calpine as a Senior Tax Manager, where they handled tax provision and financial statement preparation. After four years, they moved on to Weatherford as an International Tax Manager, focusing on reviewing tax provisions for the Russian and Sub-Sahara regions. Following their time at Weatherford, Michael joined Repsol / Legacy Talisman Energy as a US Tax Manager and later as an E&P Planning and Projects Senior Manager. Michael played a key role in the acquisition of Talisman Energy by Repsol.
