Amit Agarwal has extensive work experience in various roles and industries throughout their career. Amit started their career at Siemens as a Senior Software Engineer in 1998 and worked on projects related to intelligent transport systems and mobile ticketing. Amit later became a Project Manager, overseeing the execution and delivery of key ITS projects and managing teams spread across different countries. In 2003, they joined Satyam Computers as an Associate Consultant before returning to Siemens to take on the role of Project Manager for their mobile ticketing division. Amit then joined Continental as an International Sales Manager, focusing on business development for intelligent transport systems. After that, they worked at Trapeze Group, where they held positions in market intelligence and strategy, as well as head of the technology department. Amit joined Finastra as a Senior Director, overseeing various departments and later became Vice President & General Manager responsible for financial messaging marketplaces. Currently, they are the Vice President, M&A Integration & Strategy, Banking at Vencora.

Amit Agarwal's education history includes a recent completion of a course in Quantum Computing at MIT xPRO in 2023. Amit holds a Master of Advanced Studies in Management from Hochschule für Wirtschaft, Zürich and an MBA in International Business from the University of Southern Queensland, both obtained from 2006 to 2008. Amit also has a B.TECH in Computer Science & Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) in Varanasi, earned from 1994 to 1998. Additionally, they have a Higher Secondary degree in Science from BGKV, achieved from 1986 to 1993. Amit Agarwal has also obtained an additional certification in Introduction to Quantum Computing from MIT xPRO.
