Anthony Táng has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Anthony started their career as an Auxiliary Police Officer for Fairfax County Auxiliary Police in 2002 but had to quit in 2005 due to increased responsibilities in their primary job. Anthony then worked as a Systems Engineer at Raytheon from 1999 to 2005, with the role of Senior Systems Engineer from 2004 to 2005. From 2005 to 2010, they supported the NGA's AGITK program as an AGITK SE Interface Coordinator and Liaison at Raytheon Intelligence and Information Systems.
In 2010, Anthony joined Applied Systems Research, Inc as a Senior Systems Engineer for a short period of time. Later in the same year, they joined CACI International Inc where they continued as an Engineering Senior Scientist supporting various government defense contracts and special programs until 2014.
Anthony then joined Perspecta and Vencore Inc. in 2014. At Perspecta, they worked as a Project Engineer - Technical Specialist, providing support in requirements capability decomposition, integration into Statements of Capability (SOCs), and ICCR milestone planning and execution. At Vencore Inc., they held multiple roles including Project Engineer Technical Specialist, Systems Engineer Senior Staff, and Systems Engineer Technical Staff. In these roles, they provided systems engineering and integration advice, support for senior level management in the development of System Roadmaps and CONOPs, and technical expertise in policy/governance documentation reviews.
Throughout their career, Anthony has also been involved in various organizations like Knights of Columbus Council 11922 and Marine Corps Intelligence Association, Inc. At Knights of Columbus Council 11922, they served as an Editor of Council Newsletter and Brother Knight from 2003 to 2009. At Marine Corps Intelligence Association, Inc., they were the National President from 2004 to 2006.
Anthony Táng (SA) has a diverse education history. Anthony obtained an MS degree in Engineering Management-Systems Engineering from The George Washington University from 1999 to 2003. Prior to that, they attended the Joint Military Intelligence College from 1990 to 1991 and completed the MSSI (all but thesis) program in Post Graduate Intelligence. Anthony also earned a BS degree in Government & Politics from the University of Maryland between 1980 and 1987. Furthermore, Anthony attended Vanderbilt University from 1973 to 1975, although no degree information is provided for this period. Anthony started their academic track by completing their Academic Diploma from Father Ryan High School from 1969 to 1972.
