Stan Portz has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Stan started their career as an Electro Mechanical Technician at SONY Magnetic Products in 1987, where they performed maintenance on production and packaging equipment. Stan also took on lead duties and assisted in various production aspects. In 2001, they transitioned to DynCorp International as an Avionics Mechanic, specializing in unscheduled maintenance of Attack Helicopters. Stan extensively troubleshooted avionics, electrical, and instrumentation systems. After a year, they joined Army Fleet Support as an Avionics Mechanic, performing unscheduled maintenance on Cargo Helicopters. Stan used technical publications and schematics to troubleshoot and repair wiring, switches, and valves. In 2010, Stan moved to Vencore Service and Solutions as a Blue Force Tracking-Aviation Field Software Engineer. Stan Portz received a High School diploma from Louisville High School in 1983. After that, they attended the RETS Electronic Institute from 1983 to 1985, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Electronics Engineering Technology.
