Alex Pinsker

Alex Pinsker has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Alex began their career at CSS Laboratories Inc. as a Field Support Engineer in 1996. Alex then moved on to Paradigm Software Technologies as a Systems Administrator in 2000. Following that, they joined CSS Laboratories Inc. again, this time as a System Engineer and Team Lead, where they configured and troubleshooted desktops and servers for NYC and NYS agencies.

In 2007, Alex joined LOG-NET, Inc. as a Network Administrator, where they maintained a data center consisting of servers and implemented proactive monitoring tools. Alex also configured and supported secure FTP platforms and Lotus Domino collaboration systems.

Starting in 2008, Alex worked at Logicworks in various roles. Alex started as a Network Response Team Engineer, where they monitored and troubleshooted servers and network environments. Alex also provided support for clients' servers and network issues, as well as configured and maintained Windows and Linux servers.

Alex progressed to become a Senior Systems Engineer, where they designed, implemented, and troubleshot various managed services and deployment projects. Alex worked with MSSQL, Active Directory, DNS, load balancers, VMware ESX/ESXi, and more. Alex also supported internal Windows-based infrastructure and migrated/deployed Managed AWS environments.

At Logicworks, Alex further advanced their career and became a Manager of Systems Engineering, responsible for staff development and adoption of systems and practices to better serve clients and scale for future growth. Alex then became the Director of Support and Engineering, where they provided leadership and supervision for the MSP engineering teams and served as an escalation point for client support.

Most recently, in 2019, Alex joined Venn Software as the Director of Service Delivery. Venn is a patented technology for secure BYO-PC, and Alex is responsible for securing remote work on unmanaged or BYOD computers. Alex oversees the installation of secure enclaves on users' PCs or Macs and ensures the isolation and protection of business activity.

Throughout their career, Alex Pinsker has gained extensive experience in IT support, network administration, systems engineering, and service delivery.

Alex Pinsker has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the New York Institute of Technology, which was obtained from 1992 to 1994. Prior to that, they completed an Associate of Applied Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Technical Career Institute, which was earned from 1990 to 1992. Additionally, Alex Pinsker has obtained several certifications, including MCSA: Cloud Platform - Certified 2017 from Microsoft and various certifications from Amazon Web Services, such as AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate and AWS Certified Developer - Associate. Alex has also earned the Microsoft MCP certification and certifications from VMware, including VMware Certified Professional 5 - Data Center Virtualization (VCP5-DCV) and VMware Certified Professional 6 - Data Center Virtualization.
