Steven Panesar

Steven Panesar is an experienced Machine Learning Engineer with a strong background in supervised and unsupervised learning, coupled with expertise in database management. Currently employed at Sippd since August 2020, Steven previously held similar roles at MicroGEM, where significant achievements included enhancing electrophoresis channel alignment and drastically reducing quality control time through CNN implementations. Earlier experiences include engineering roles at TeGrex Technologies and quality control responsibilities at MSS Machining, alongside research positions at the University of Guelph, where advancements in bioassays and waste product functionalization were made. Steven holds a Master of Engineering in Biological Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Guelph, complemented by a Machine Learning Engineering Career Track certification from Springboard.
