Dave Thornton

Dave Thornton has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Dave is currently serving as the VP Operations - Plaquemines LNG at Venture Global LNG since 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Marathon Oil Corporation for over 15 years, holding positions as the Engineering and Construction Manager and Operations Manager (EGLNG). Before joining Marathon Oil Corporation, they worked as a Senior Marine Engineer at Marathon Petroleum Company for four years.

Dave Thornton attended the Colorado School of Mines from 1983 to 1987, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering.
