S. Scott Simmons has a strong background in supply chain and procurement management. S. Scott started their career as a Field Engineer at GE Energy in 2001. S. Scott then worked at Chevron Geothermal and Power Indonesia as a Supply Chain Analyst and later as a Supply Chain Management Advisor. In 2011, they joined Talisman Energy Inc. and held various roles, including North America SCM Team Lead for Engineering & Construction Category, Global SCM Team Lead for Engineering & Operations Category, and Manager of Global Category Management and Strategic Sourcing. From 2016 to 2019, they served as the Director of Supply Chain Management at Cameron LNG, where they were responsible for building the company's SCM organization and implementing its supply chain/procurement strategy. Currently, they are the Vice President of Procurement at Venture Global LNG, leading the development of the company's procurement organization for multiple LNG projects.

S. Scott Simmons completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from North Carolina State University in 2001. S. Scott then pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the North Carolina State University - College of Management, graduating in 2005. In 2007, they obtained a Professional Certificate in Supply Chain Management from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
