Power Plant CRO at Venture Global LNG

Shelly Kimbriel has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Shelly began their career as a laborer at ARSI from December 2005 to July 2008. Shelly then joined the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers in January 2005 and worked as a journeyman bricklayer until November 2012. From December 2012 to August 2014, they worked as a production operator at Turner Industries, where they gained experience in various tasks such as loading and unloading raw materials, forklift operation, and assisting with plant operations.

Shelly then transitioned to Solvay Chemicals in August 2014 and worked as a shipping operator, responsible for tasks such as shipping and receiving materials, operating blend tanks and reactors, and maintaining necessary paperwork. In March 2015, Shelly joined (Kelly) @ The Dow Chemical Company as an API 936 Refractory Tech/Inspector, performing inspections and evaluations of non-metallic equipment.

In 2016, Shelly started their tenure at ExxonMobil as a Process Technician, ensuring safety protocols, understanding process flow, and inspecting equipment and work areas. Shelly later took on the role of an Operator, where they conducted bench experiments, analyzed data, and worked on electrical equipment and facilities.

Currently, Shelly Kimbriel is working at Venture Global LNG as a Power Plant CRO, involved in the pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup of a gas turbine power island at an LNG facility. Shelly also assists in the development and implementation of safety procedures and permits.

Shelly Kimbriel obtained a certification in MSHA OSHA Passport from Wes Tec Community College in Taft, California from 2004 to 2005. In addition to their college education, they also obtained the API 936 certification from API in August 2015 and an Industrial Firefighter certification from Texas A&M University.
