Nicholas Cardwell

Vice President, Research and Development at Venus Aerospace

Nicholas Cardwell has over 15 years of work experience in research and development. From 2005 to 2006, they were a University Turbine Systems Research Fellow at Pratt & Whitney. From 2006 to 2010, they were a Doctorate Graduate Research Assistant at Virginia Tech. From 2010 to 2011, they were a Research Associate at Penn State University. From 2011 to 2015, they were a Senior Technology Development Engineer and Senior Scientist at Novartis. From 2015 to 2020, they were a Vice President of Operations and Engineering and Director of Engineering at Bractlet. From 2020 to 2021, they were Vice President of Research and Development at McCord Development, Inc. Currently, they are a Technical Advisor at Inflight Capital Partners.

Nicholas Cardwell attended Virginia Tech from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering. Nicholas also attended Virginia Tech from 2003 to 2005, where they earned a Master of Science (MS) in Mechanical Engineering. Additionally, they attended the University of Texas at Tyler from 1999 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering.
