Corporate Responsibility And Sustainability Development Partner at VENUS Fashion Inc.

Katelyn White has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Katelyn began their career as an Instructor at Art Beins Karate from 2007 to 2009. Katelyn then served as an Eco-Representative and Photographer at Rider University from 2010 to 2014. At Climate Central, Inc., they worked as a Multimedia Fellow, where they conducted research on climate change and energy issues, created HTML for Climate Matters Alerts, and monitored TV meteorologists on social media platforms. From 2014 to 2016, Katelyn worked as a Project Coordinator at Matrix New World Engineering, Inc., a firm specializing in environmental and engineering consulting. Katelyn then joined the NJ Department of Environmental Protection as an Environmental Specialist: Communications & Outreach Coordinator from 2017 to 2020. In this role, they developed communication and outreach strategies to promote public awareness of climate change science and facilitated climate resilience efforts. As of 2020, Katelyn is currently employed at VENUS Fashion Inc. as a Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Business Partner, responsible for administering and improving the Corporate Responsibility Program. Katelyn also manages initiatives to reduce environmental impact and build a culture of Corporate Responsibility.

Katelyn White attended Rider University from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree. Their fields of study were Journalism and Environmental Science. In addition to their formal education, Katelyn also obtained several certifications. In March 2015, they completed the OSHA 10-hour Outreach Training Program in Construction from 360training.com. In March 2018, they received 14-hour Class Instruction for ArcGIS from the NEW JERSEY DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION. In May 2018, they completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training program at Younique Yoga. In July 2018, Katelyn obtained two certifications: a 2-day Introductory Workshop in Community-Based Social Marketing from McKenzie-Mohr & Associates and NJ DEP Floodplain Manager Training from the NEW JERSEY DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION.
