Val Olfat

Val Olfat has a extensive work history in procurement and strategic sourcing. They began their career at Sears Holdings Corporation as a Procurement Senior Category Manager, where they implemented and managed online negotiations. They later joined newBrandAnalytics as the Director of New Business Development, where they managed client relationships and developed solution proposals. Val then became the Director of Operations at GigeNET, overseeing all aspects of the business and managing multiple projects. They continued to advance their career at Sears Holdings Corporation, serving as a Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager, where they managed a large portfolio and negotiated contracts. Val then joined McDonald's Corporation as a Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager. They later became the Director of Strategic Sourcing at The Morey Corporation, leading a team and developing sourcing strategies. Their next role was as the Divisional Procurement Director at Walgreens Boots Alliance, where they directed and executed category strategies for indirect goods and services. Currently, Val is working at Veolia as the Director of Global Indirect Procurement.

Val Olfat completed a Master of Business Administration in Management from Dominican University from 2006 to 2008. Earlier, from 2000 to 2004, Val Olfat obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration & Italian, also from Dominican University.
