Andrew Savitski has over 20 years of work experience in the field of data engineering and management. Andrew currently works at Vera as a Lead Data Engineer. Prior to that, they were a Principal Data Engineer at Abbott. Andrew's previous experience includes positions at Cardiovascular Systems, Inc. as a Principal Data Engineer, Senior Data Engineer, and Data Warehouse Manager. Andrew also worked at Best Buy as a Counter Intelligence Agent. Throughout their career, Andrew has been involved in various projects, such as migrating analytics to different platforms, designing integrations for HRIS systems, and managing teams. Andrew is skilled in SQL, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Snowflake, Databricks, Fivetran, dbt, and Azure.

Andrew Savitski received a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Media Communications from the University of Northwestern — St. Paul, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications in data engineering and generative AI fundamentals from Databricks, as well as various certifications in data engineering applications from Snowflake in the year 2023.
