Lindsay Rosenthal has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Lindsay started their career in 2007 as an Advocate for the Florida Guardian Ad Litem Program, where they advocated for the rights of children in the legal system. In 2010, they worked as a Research Associate for Options For Youth, conducting research in support of youth empowerment. Lindsay then joined the White House Domestic Policy Council as an Intern, gaining experience in policy work at the national level.

In 2011, Lindsay took on two roles simultaneously. Lindsay worked as a Research Assistant for the Center for American Progress, conducting research and policy analysis on health policy and women's health and rights. At the same time, they interned at the White House Domestic Policy Council, further enhancing their policy experience.

In 2013, Lindsay joined the Ms. Foundation for Women as a Policy and Advocacy Fellow. Here, they focused on designing advocacy strategies to improve the well-being of girls in foster care and the juvenile justice system. Lindsay co-authored a report that received national attention and led to a reform effort to prevent the incarceration of girl survivors of gender-based violence.

Since 2015, Lindsay has been working at the Vera Institute of Justice as the Project Director. Lindsay founded and directs the Initiative to End Girls' Incarceration, which aims to prevent and end girls' incarceration by addressing the legal, economic, and health impacts of violence. Their work focuses on five jurisdictions in the United States and centers race and gender equity.

Overall, Lindsay's work experience reflects their commitment to social justice and advocacy, particularly in the areas of women's rights, youth empowerment, and criminal justice reform.

Lindsay Rosenthal earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Women's Studies from Florida International University, completing their studies from 2004 to 2007. Later, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Humanities at the University of Chicago, from 2009 to 2010.
