V Thompkins is a seasoned data professional with extensive experience in justice-related data analysis and management. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at the Vera Institute of Justice since July 2024, V previously held the position of Senior Data Analyst at the Center for Policing Equity, where V collaborated on data standardization protocols and developed a Redshift database for 911 call records. Prior roles include Senior Data & Policy Specialist and Data & Policy Specialist at Community Resources For Justice, where V managed projects and implemented policy reforms in the criminal justice system. Additional experience includes research at the Brennan Center for Justice and recruitment coordination at EY and Environmental Defense Fund. V holds a Bachelor's degree in International Affairs and Economics and a Master’s degree in Public Administration and Data Analytics from Northeastern University.
