Alex Dove

Alex Dove has a diverse work experience in various software engineering roles. Alex started their career as an intern at Orange County Superior Court in 2009 and later interned at Fireman's Fund Insurance Company. In 2012, they worked as a Software QA Intern at Sonoma Technology, Inc. and later became a Software Engineer, where they developed applications in Java, ColdFusion, .NET, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

From 2013 to 2014, Alex worked as a Web Developer at Orange County Superior Court, delivering a standardized template for their public website and designing templates for mobile devices. Alex then joined Allscripts in 2015, initially as a Software Engineer in Test and later as a Senior Engineer Software until 2019.

Currently, Alex is employed at Veradigm® since 2019, where they first worked as a Principal Software Engineer and now holds the position of Senior Principal Software Engineer. In this role, they lead a team and focuses on building distributed systems using .NET, Kubernetes, and SQL Server, specifically in areas like authentication, authorization, cryptography, and flighting.

From 2008 to 2012, Alex Dove studied Computer Science at Sonoma State University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree.
