Niki Pryor has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Starting in 2004, Pryor worked as a Junior Electrical Engineer at Hatch Associates before joining Nortel in 2004 as a Firmware and Hardware Design Engineer. At Nortel, Pryor also participated in the Metro Ethernet Networks Leadership Rotational Program, gaining experience in portfolio management, optical product marketing, and optical network planning. Pryor then moved on to Avalon Microelectronics in 2009 as a Product Manager, where their responsibilities included market strategy, product development, and competitive analysis. In 2010, Pryor joined Altera as a Product Marketing Manager, further expanding their knowledge in the optical transport industry. Altera was later acquired by Intel Corporation in 2015, where Pryor became a Strategic Marketing Manager for Wireline Transmission. At Intel, Pryor leveraged their optical wireline market knowledge to grow Intel's programmable Transmission business through customer interaction and market analysis. Pryor then had a brief experience as the CEO of Brownie Points Inc. in 2016 before founding their own startup, miniChic, in 2015. Finally, Pryor is currently working at Verafin, where they have held various roles, including Head of Customer Onboarding SMB and Head of Digital Assets Anti-Financial Crime.

Niki Pryor obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Electrical Engineering from Memorial University of Newfoundland, completing their studies from 1997 to 2003. In 2016, they participated in the Propel ICT Launch Accelerator Spring 2016 program, although no degree was conferred for this undertaking.
