Zachery Scheer

Zachery Scheer has extensive experience in model and data validation, particularly in the financial sector. Currently serving at Verafin since June 2022, Zachery plays a key role in assisting financial institutions with complex data validation, model risk management, and compliance inquiries, while also providing training and support to 3rd party audit firms. Prior to Verafin, Zachery held various positions at American National Bank from November 2012 to June 2022, including oversight of the BSA Program, managing compliance processes, and serving as a Subject Matter Expert in BSA/AML compliance. Zachery has a proven track record in developing training initiatives, analyzing BSA reports, and implementing anti-financial crimes software while building strong relationships with clients and regulatory bodies.
