Zhongdi Chu

Zhongdi Chu, PhD has a diverse work experience in the field of quantitative science and ophthalmic imaging. From 2013 to 2019, they worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Washington, where they developed quantification platforms and algorithms for analyzing human retina and choroid data using optical coherence tomography angiography. During this time, they contributed to multiple research projects, resulting in patents, journal papers, and conference presentations.

In 2019, Zhongdi Chu joined Verana Health as a Senior Quantitative Scientist, specializing in imaging and machine learning. Zhongdi Chu, PhD obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Washington, with a period of study from 2015 to 2019. Prior to that, Zhongdi completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in the same field at the University of Washington, from 2013 to 2015. Furthermore, Zhongdi holds various certifications in AI and machine learning from Coursera, including AI for Medical Diagnosis, Deep Learning Specialization, Sequence Models, Convolutional Neural Networks, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, Neural Networks and Deep Learning, and Structuring Machine Learning Projects, though the specific dates of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
