Sean Kennedy

Sean Kennedy has a diverse work experience in the field of science and research. Sean currently works at Veranova as a Scientist II, starting in November 2021. Before that, they worked as a Scientist at the same company from September 2020 to November 2021. Prior to their time at Veranova, Sean was a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of Chicago from July 2019 to September 2020. Sean also gained experience as a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Northern Illinois University from January 2015 to July 2019, and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Illinois State University from May 2013 to December 2014.

Sean Kennedy received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry from Illinois State University in 2014. Sean then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Organic Chemistry at Northern Illinois University from 2015 to 2019.
